Southampton Nautical Chart
Live nautical seamarks via OpenSeaMap • click-to-identify buoys/lights
This is a genuine nautical chart layer for Southampton Water and the western Solent, built from OpenSeaMap — a free, crowd-sourced nautical database that overlays real seamarks (buoys, beacons, lights, marina and mooring symbols) onto an OpenStreetMap base. Drag to pan, scroll or use the +/− buttons to zoom, untick "Nautical seamarks" to compare against the plain street map, and once you're zoomed in a little, click directly on a buoy or light symbol to see what it actually is.
Not for navigation. This is a supplement for planning and general reference only — it is not a substitute for an official Admiralty chart, and OpenSeaMap says the same of itself. Always use a proper up-to-date chart and your own passage planning for anything afloat.
Zoom in a little further, then click a buoy/light symbol to identify it.
